Why I Really Love Fall (And My Mandatory Fall Leisure List)
Autumn is definitely the most romantic, nostalgic time of year. Summer is insane and usually leaves all kinds of exciting wounds on the psyche that need to be healed, whether from overexposure to sun or overexposure to ego (and all kinds of cinematic joviality). By the time winter comes around, I generally feel healed enough to celebrate the holidays without a care. It makes me wonder if I will most enjoy the last half of my life—the autumn and winter.

10 Things I Love About Fall ♡
1. Pumpkin spice lattes
2. Apple picking upstate
3. Making halloween costumes
4. The last days of wearing cut-off shorts w/o tights
5. Wearing enormous sweaters
6. Early, chilly mornings
7. Leaves turning orang, yellow, and red
8. Drinking tea upstate in mom’s kitchen
9. Sewing projects
10. Nostalgia
I plan to engage in those ten things as much as humanly possible and maybe even blog about them consistently.
In other news, I signed up for a free 3-day meditation workshop in the Lower East Side next weekend. It’ll be comrade Aparna’s birthday and she decided to join me. No better way to enter your personal new year, right? We’re going because we really need to learn to Oommm.
Below, some autumnal inspiration. Photo diaries to come.

I feel the same way about fall, especially the nostalgia. I pretty much just want to listen to 90s alternative and watch the Adventures of Pete and Pete in a snuggly sweater.
