Winter Sprites, Macy’s Xmas Windows & The Necklace Of My Dreams
Here’s a quick video I shot (and later edited) of the Macy’s Christmas 2011 Christmas windows while I was strolling by them the other day (okay, fine, I was in everyone’s way getting close-ups and shoving through crowds to be closer to these spindly, magical creatures). These are by far my favorite Macy’s windows ever. ☆
The puppets were so lifelike, I believe there is a strong possibility that they come alive after Macy’s closes and hold all kinds of mysterious Christmas puppet ceremonial what-not in the perfume department.

Inside the store was pretty cray-cray but my mother, Raffa and I had a jolly time plowing through the masses to the upper level Starbucks on the main floor for gingerbread lattes (❤), buying costume jewelry (wait until you see the epic earrings I acquired), and getting excited about the shiny decorations.

Let’s move on to what’s on my Christmas wishlist this year…
Tom Binns chandelier coated rhinestone necklaces. Are you serious? These were made for me (and every other pseudo-ice queen with glittering delusions of grandeur who enjoys being the most highly decorated person on any given NYE dance floor).
People are DIY-ing these all over the internet, though, so buying one is probably bad creative karma. Apparently all you need is nail polish!

Holiday jewelry at its finest. Buy ‘em in NYC.
Hope everyone had a great Monday! It’s almost December…

I wish Atlanta had a big Macy’s with window displays ;_; I guess I just need to come up to NY over the holidays sometime soon.
Well, I made this video for people like you! ;}
If you end up in NY this winter at all, you better let me know! xoxo
