Odds & Ends From Brooklyn ✂
Reporting from Brooklyn in the least snow-full winter I remember in my whole life. Alas, we must not be sad that we’re not snowed in. Christmas has been in full swing for weeks! First of all, what could be more festive than a watermarked animated gif involving digital snow and my teeth?
When I showed this to my mother on skype she cited my behavior as the reason America is so behind in spy technology. “Because Americans are making animated gifs of their faces chomping digital snow while Romanians are taking computers seriously.” I agree, mom!
This post will be brought to you entirely by my phone (the android HTC Thunderbolt), and its various camera apps. I often leave photos to rot in my “Droid pics” folder because they’ve amassed into an enormous pool of visuals that I don’t have time to think about separately, but since I got this phone right before Xmas, they’re all festive enough to post without much thought.
Ho ho ho! Here we go!
“What I’ve been up to lately”
Still in love with chiseled models who wear the pastel hair trend.
Williamsburg cafe with candy-stripe windows.
Working on big audacious jeweled necklace designs.
Breakfast cereal < Rhinestones & flat back gems
Sculpey clay miniature pastries I made as a very special xmas gift!
Hanging out at d.brand, digging through the jeans. <3
Frolicking around Bryant Park.
Taste-testing pastries at Eataly.
Aaaaand here I am in a Santa hat enjoying a denim-y day at Denim Therapy (8th avenue: ever so festive, ever so filthy). High-5 to my circle lens supplier!
I know, that was a pretty random post.
Hope everyone is having fun getting ready for the 25th (or celebrating Hanukkah!)—I’ll post up photos from our Xmas party and the Greenpoint craft sale asap!
