I ♡ Vintage Kimono Fabrics
Japanese kimono and yukata fabrics are some of my favorite textiles in the world. The designs range from saturated explosions of flowers to more subtle, modest patterns. At the Sakura Matsuri this past March there were some vintage kimono fabric cuts for sale, along with some summer yukatas. I didn’t buy any this time, but I went nuts with my camera.
I’ll let these beeeauuutiful photos speak for themselves!

Gorgeous!

Clearly I need to live in New York, I swear I’ve spent the last couple of days trolling all over ebay and etsy trying to find a reasonably priced vintage kimono/yukata and none of them looked as nice as those do.
Fabric shopping here is the best in the US!
