25 Ways to Have More Fun this Week
I know it’s already Tuesday, but judging from the stressed-out post-holiday blahhh vibes emanating from my social media feeds and my social circle in general, I thought I would post this quick list of ways to make this week (and next week, and the next) a little more awesome.

25 Ways to Have More Fun this Week
-
Dress like your favorite movie character.
Highlight three (exciting, scary, ambitious, stylish) items on your New Year’s resolutions list you want to focus on this month. Start them this week.
Pick out something unexpected and bold for your apartment.
Get rid of at least 5 things in your closet. Enjoy the breathing space between the clothes you really love. When your wardrobe looks more like a SoHo boutique and less like the Sally Army, you’ll be more inspired to dress up in the morning.
Find a hidden corner in your city and break out your sketchbook. Re-design your bathroom, next year’s Halloween costume, or the dream you had last night.
On the weekend, photograph yourself after you get home at 4AM. That’s a lot more entertaining than before the party when you looked perfect, amiright?
On your way home from work, buy some cute underwear. Wear them while watching sexy French movies on Netflix with a bottle of wine and a big salted brownie.
Decorate your apartment with X-mas lights, lanterns, streamers, or beaded curtains. Or…all of the above.
Have a margarita on your lunch break.
Ask someone way older than you what they would like to tell their you-aged-selves. Think it over.
Do a video tour of your apartment for family or friends that live too far away to visit.
Burn some incense in the kitchen while you brew delicious herbal tea. Feeling crafty? Make your own tea bags.
Wear a wild, bohemian head wrap and big statement earrings.
Buy an ornate notebook to keep your thoughts and dreams in as you go about your day.
Print your favorite photos from the past month and hang them near your desk.
Open a savings account for a trip you’ve been wanting to take. Get excited and make it real.
Throw a party!
Ask friends for new music recommendations. Find your new favorite band. Buy tickets to their next show.
Cut up your magazines and make a fashion scrapbook.
Got a plate you don’t like? Throw it on the floor and scream “OPA!” Now it’s not breaking dishes, it’s starting a party. Seriously.
Avoid your old routine. Do new things, walk a different way home, use amusing new slang, switch up your coffee flavors.
Grab a cut of lace fabric and create an organized, beautiful earring display.
Invest in an epic silk kimono robe to wear around the house. You’ll feel like a you’re in a movie, even when you’re doing the dishes.
Cross one boring thing off your to-do list, and move on.
