Travel Diary: Arequipa, Part 3 (and NYFW!)
Happy Fashion Week! That’s right, NYFW is here (already), and though I found myself slumped over a mug of green tea scowling at my to-do list this morning, I’m still excited for the fashion madness that’s about to unfold.
For now, here are more photos from the Arequipa collection! Delicious food, coca sours, a whole lot of Inca Kola, insane desserts, the Arequipa Independence day parade, my little stuffed llama, jumping around the courtyard, and a day trip to up-and-coming Socabaya. I hope you enjoy…
Our last few days in Arequipa were overcast and chilly. The Misti volcano was covered in snow, and we layered on the sweaters. After seeing nothing but clear blue skies for a solid week, it was kind of beautiful and got me excited about fall in New York.
My favorite cookies in Peru, Casino! I bought one of each flavor at the internet cafe.
A few more posts, and I will be all caught up with my Peruvian adventures. I’m sure you guys are a little Peru’d out by now, hm! But don’t worry—plenty of NYFW goodness is on the way.
