So the climactic week-and-some-days celebration of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is approaching completion. For me the most thrilling moments were at the Milly show, which I’ve been working on!
Preparation at Milly was busy but never frantic thanks to a team who have it down to a science. Beholding the work of the stylist, Aleksandra Woroniecka, really made me understand the way a vision-made-tangible can be worked into a series of fashion-forward equations that looks fierce as hell on the runway.
Tons of fun pics below!
The accessories for the show: hats by Lola, cable tights by Wolford, and shoes by Manolo Blahnik.
Almost showtime! The Promenade.

The collection! My shots of the show are alright but see the full set of color-correct images here. The inspiration was the essence of the modern day metropolitan “gallerina”.
The highlight of the night for me was when head designer Michelle Smith came out on the runway to wave, wearing a dress I helped design! Cue fashion student near-lack of ability to maintain consciousness. Here we are backstage.
On my way out I came across Taylor Momsen heading into Anna Sui. I love her ballgown and cropped leather jacket combo.
Naturally, an after party followed…
