Risto was the third show I attended on the 11th, between sprints to the Refinery29 office, and by the time I arrived at the Pavilion and got my complimentary Fiji, I was already looking at my phone, counting minutes until I could go pass out in Chelsea for a few precious hours before the after-party lineup.
New York Fashion Week is exhausting, y’all.
Luckily Risto’s Spring 2010 collection was an eye-opening palette of electric orange and a gradient of violets between top-to-bottom black and chrome. Just the trick to keep a girl from dozing off front row! And if the color scheme alone didn’t mesmerize, the sheer bodysuits and flowing caftans imprinted with full-blown lighting storms probably did!
