It’s not fashion week if you’re not dragging yourself out at all hours of the night after covering shows all day. But hey, the festivity and good times make it worth it. And how else am I going to show off this rad Amish hat?
Thursday night was the FRESH.i.AM party at Goldbar, a swanky spot on Broome St. with the right amount of attitude for the bold, high contrast streetwear line that debuted there. I am especially a fan of the lounge walls tiled with gold skulls.
These stylish gents were there with bells on—and loving the complimentary vodka. Fashion party rule #1: Never pay for a drink!
On one chilly fashion week evening (I think it was after the Emerson show—this week has been such a whirlwind) I was walking down Manhattan Ave when I spotted a Valentine’s Day x NYFW cocktail party happening at super cute Von Tease.
It’s a new lingerie boutique that’s super cute. And to their credit, this shindig was hard to miss, with scantily clad women dancing in the windows and giant paper hearts beckoning passers-by.
The champagne may be gone now, but if you’re in the need of some frilly, cute undies for V-day, stop by!
Here’s Von Tease’s Taylor McAlister showing off a red slip dress. I bet you wish you could wear underwear to work!
More runway, parties, and festive fashion fun coming your way… stay tuned!
