Custo Barcelona FW14 Is Bold & Beautiful—And Shiny! NYFW Continues
Custo Barcelona is one of my favorite collections to see each season. The amount of energy and creativity infused in the designs is unparalleled.
As always, metallics, bright colors, and a bit of fringe played a role. Neon pink tailored coats, paneled dresses, color-blocked jackets, and hyper-style lines came down the runway accented by geometric, tribal-inspired prints on hats and oversized belted tops. Bold, colorful fur could be spotted, too.
Though a collection for the darker months of the year, these clothes were a non-stop party. Leave it to Custo Barcelona to bring summer right into winter. I admit that my seat wasn’t the best—it’s hard for medium-size bloggers like me to get front row at such an epic show—but I managed to snapshots of my favorites! See the full collection at The Cut.
The Instagram wall was showcasing a steady feed of images tagged #MBFashionWeek.
After the show, I walked around for my post-runway coffee and outfit spotting as usual. We didn’t get hammered with snow yesterday as the weather report had suggested, so score one for girls wearing heels!
