As we head into the middle of summer, it’s getting a little more difficult to find time to edit! I admit that I have too many projects going, as always. I recently heard some helpful advice that it’s futile to obsess over “balance” and just focus on what matters right now. I think I can handle that…
Anyway, part 2 of my July vlog is here! It contains gratuitous rooftop footage. Seriously. We can’t get enough of our rooftop this summer. We spent afternoons soaking up the sun and evenings watching the sky for UFOs… π½ We actually did see a comet, which was neat.
I also set a goal for my course launch (finally!) and got to visit Krystal and Georgie after being separated since before quarantine. I can’t explain how much I missed them and how good it was to see their smiling faces in person as opposed to on a computer screen. We had the perfect summer night BBQ and hung out with their sweet rescue pups.
This month was essential about adjusting to our new place and embracing a new feeling of optimism that summer carried in. It still feels like I’m in limbo from the move and from so much change, but we’ll find our groove eventually.
For now, watch the full vlog below!

Yes, I’m including a photo of our bathroom. π For NYC standards, it’s pretty awesome. (That mirror! A window!)
