Chill, rainy, refreshing… what a month. In July we took a much-needed trip to the Hudson Valley for some fresh air and family time. Mom let us pick peppers in the garden and I finally got to visit the farm over the mountain (the views are unreal). We celebrated Otto’s birthday and ended the trip with a cozy fire out in the yard. Basically, it was perfect, even if many moments were bookended by anxiety.
Back in Brooklyn, I reunited with my cousin Meg, had a few panic attacks (as one does, it’s standard this summer), and baked some muffins with fresh blueberries. I’ve never baked with fresh fruit before, but I felt like I was on Bake-Off. I also found some new eco-friendly kitchen swaps that I’m excited to try!

It’s another month in the books, and I was grateful for every minute. Here are some of my favorite photos from the month:
After we left, mom sent me this photo of Guinness in his new bed. ❤️❤️
