August Vlogs | 4 Busy Weeks in Brooklyn
August was an intense month! I couldn’t fit it all into one vlog, so I split it into four. There were ups, downs and everything in between. I unofficially revived my social life, which has been mostly dormant since fall 2020. This brought about a fresh new kind of anxiety—and an opportunity to work through it.
I developed a new mental trick for recentering myself, which allowed me to get through freelance writing work, planning, and creative projects. Overall, it was a memorable month. See the vlogs below—and don’t forget to subscribe for more chill, creative-living-inspired content, including vlogs and DIY videos.
August Vlog 1
Cleaning, writing, making progress! August was the busiest month of 2021 yet, and it all kicked off a marathon of client work and some major decluttering of my home studio.
August Vlog 2
Marvel as I revive my rusty social life for shows, birthdays, backyard hangs, and random rendezvous with the people I adore. I talk a bit about my anxiety, how certain goals are progressing, and the usual Libra ramblings…
August Vlog 3
A scorching week in BK… and it brought some big shifts in my life! This week we’ll go thrifting for treasures at Bushwick Market (on the hottest day ever), sip champagne in the blissful back yard at Mominette, talk eco-friendly kitchen upgrades, and lots more.
August Vlog 4
In this week’s vlog, we kiss summer goodbye and wrap up the August vlogs. I’m so excited to get into fall videos (!) but it felt good to look back on these summer moments and soak it all in.
Here are some of my favorite snaps from August:
Thanks for spending another month with me! This was my first time trying a weekly vlogging format, and for a month as packed as August, I think it worked well.
What have you been up to this summer?
